Indian boxer MC Mary Kom made history at the World Championship on Thursday. Mary Kom clinched a medal by defeating Colombian boxer Ingrit Valencia 5–0 in the quarter-finals of the 51kg category. With this medal won, Mary raised her medal count to eight at the World Championships. Mary is the first female boxer in the world to do so. The most experienced boxer of the Indian women’s team. MC Mary Kom performs very well in the World Championship.
